What are the responsibilities and job description for the UI Architect position at 540?
540 is looking for a UI Architect to help the DoD build new proof of concept capabilities for a new and exciting Air Force integration platform powered by Apigee and Google Cloud. This person will be leading out our UI development team and overseeing UI/UX efforts.
Location: Remote within the continental United States. East Coast working hours with some flexibility afforded
Citizenship & Clearance Requirement: per client requirements, must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field (preferred)

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Senior-level experience leading a web application development team
- Substantial and demonstrable personal experience doing web application development
- Substantial and demonstrable experience with UI/UX design, preferably with Angular Material
- Substantial and demonstrable experience taking end-user desires and transforming them into requirements
- Experience using the Scrum methodology
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience running end user focus groups / workshops
- Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
- Experience taking applications into production
- Experience securing UI applications
- Substantial and demonstrable experience with developing API-oriented web UIs
- Experience working on US Federal Government projects, specifically with the Department of Defense
