Senior Software/Application Developer

We are looking for a professional Senior Software/Application Developer to join the 6K Team!  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the IMD, the Technology Innovation Section (TIS) executes its mission by providing essential Information Technology (IT) solutions. The TIS delivers Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for automated data processing, network infrastructure, and software application development for the IMD’s various mission critical authorized systems of records.

DUTIES

•  Provides software and application support for the ASRS, HPECM, DC2, DCS and FDPS systems.
•  Develops high-performing, well-tested and thoughtfully architected software delivery that satisfy our internal business needs and create powerful guest experiences. Has proven experience in effectively applying scientific, mathematical, and social principles to design, build, & maintain technology products, devices, systems, and solutions that provide amazing global business experiences.
•  Uses algorithms, data structures, programming languages, programming paradigms to create, test and operate sustainable client-side or server-side software applications and services.
•  Builds and extends software applications in varying (cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premise) environments.
•  Ensures applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices.
•  Works with business and systems analysts to understand end-user requirements and translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.
•  Works closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend, and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure, and resilient.
•  Engages in ongoing quality and performance improvement to ensure reliability and security.
•  Understands the requirements of the client to create specifications for applications they're going to develop
•  Creates prototypes for the application according to the specifications
•  Writes quality code to create the completed applications within a set amount of time
•  Performs testing before launch
•  Troubleshoots and debugs the application
•  Evaluates existing applications and add new features, reprogram them, or complete updates
•  Develops documents and handbooks that represent the design and code for the application

•  Assists in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues.

REQUIREMENTS

•  Must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance
•  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
•  Working Knowledge with GITLAB, MS Desktop Productivity Suite 2013 or higher, AWS and Azure Cloud Administration, PEGA 8 or higher and HighView versions 4 and 5, .NET Frameworks, C#, HTML software languages, and MS Visual Studio 2015 or higher
•  Expertise Knowledge in Agile and or DevOps development methodologies, CACI’s HighView Application Version 4.0 or higher, Web-Based application development, Oracle 12c or higher and MS SQL 2012 or higher databases
•  Must have experience with SDLC, code development, data migrations, query and report generation, continuous monitoring, crash recovery, backups, rolling upgrades, troubleshooting, and system security controls.
