▶ About This Opportunity

Job Summary: 

At 7-Eleven International (7IN), we are responsible for the growth of 7-Eleven branded business around the world, excluding US, Canada, Mexico, and Japan. We are currently responsible for supporting over 15 regions that are managed by our Master Franchisees who operates over 50,000 stores across the globe.

The Global Technology & Digital department at 7IN is responsible for:
1. Enabling, driving, and supporting 7-Eleven’s Global Digital Transformation (DX)
2. Introducing 7-Eleven’s digital and technology solutions to international licensees and candidates
3. Develop and operate 7-Eleven Global Technology (7GT)
4. Supporting international licensee to implement their digital and technology solutions (In-house development or through 7GT) to operate their 7-Eleven business
5. Digitally enable the 7IN organization

The “Group Product Manager” will be responsible for the success of the 7-Eleven Global Technology (7GT) Platform segment. Working with the Engineering Team to develop componentized technology products that can be sold as a service to existing International Licensees or can be used to operate a 7-Eleven business in a new market. Work with Regional Directors and New Market Entry Director to obtain to gain alignment with local technology leaders.

Main Responsibilities: 

 Responsible for the vision and strategy for a segment of 7GT
 Maintain a multi-product roadmap to execute
 Gain alignment on that vision, strategy, and roadmap with the leader of 7GT
 Implement a segment of 7GT platform that will consist of multiple technology products based on existing solutions at 7-Eleven, Inc.
 Directly work on implementing the segment of 7GT platform for International New Market Entry
 Manage team to execute a portion of the segment of 7GT platform
 Define, Measure, Evaluate and Report KPI’s for that segment of 7GT
 Globalizing 7-Eleven Inc. technology solutions with implementation in different countries

Job Requirements: 

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10 years of product execution/technology implementation background, 10 years of managing 30 resources/multiple products and 5 years of global software experience

Core Competencies: 

• Motivated Leader with passion to expand our software to global market
• Knowledgeable about 7-Eleven business model or small box franchised convenience business model
• Preferable to understand Retailer Initiative
• Have created vision & strategy
• Able to communicate well to gain alignment on vision, strategy and resolving risks and issues with senior executives
