Job Vision:
To drive profitable volume growth, quality market share, and maintain 7G Distributing, LLC’s position among Suppliers as a leading distributor. To safely and efficiently perform and control a combination of manual and automated tasks necessary for the receipt, store, transfer, pick, pack, re-pack, loading and shipment of product while maintaining the inventory accuracy and cleanliness of the warehouse. This will in part be accomplished by:
Focusing on the areas and factors where 7G Distributing, LLC must improve in order to win long-term, sustainable market share while the sales team is focused on detailed, tactical execution.
Ensuring “best-in-market” DSD service to on- and off-premise accounts through best-in-class operations execution, and maintaining superior “partner” relationships with retailers and Suppliers.
Serving as a role model for 7G Distributing, LLC by establishing mutual respect with management and co-workers. Day Warehouse will lead by example to promote teamwork, cooperation, and enhanced morale.
Operating with candor, integrity, and professionalism in all 7G Distributing, LLC interfaces.
Essential Job Functions:
Unload product from Suppliers, complete receiving paperwork, deliver the paperwork to accounting, and put away received products as directed by management,
Load product onto trucks for delivery drivers, hot shots, and dunnage returns,
Transfer product from one pick location to another pick location,
Restock flow racks and pick areas as required,
Delivery: check in and check out of drivers, reload drivers, and rearrange loaded trucks
Sales: pulling sales deliveries for same day delivery and hot shots,
Stage product for next day delivery and hot shots,
Complete a physical inventory count daily and deliver paperwork to the Operations Manager,
Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, compactor, baler, walk behind and ride-on scrubbers, tape machine, glue gun, air stapler, and shrink wrap machine and complete equipment checklist daily and before first use,
Repack damaged product as needed,
Participate and be a contributing member in warehouse meetings for the purpose of communication and training,
Complete all OSHA- and 7G Distributing, LLC-required safety training,
Maintain certifications for forklifts and electric pallet jacks operation,
Ensure the warehouse is clean and orderly,
Ensure no beer is left outside the CEW,
Keep unauthorized personnel out of the warehouse,
Complete other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
Have the ability to lift up to 165 lbs., at times repetitively,
Have the ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively,
Be able to bend, stoop, push and pull repetitively,
Must be able to stand for long periods of time,
General math and counting abilities,
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
