Job Description: Security Strategist, Symantec Enterprise Division Products Organization Job Description The successful candidate will have a proven track record of engaging with C-level executives and key decision-makers, building strong relationships as a trusted advisor, and developing customized solutions for the largest global enterprises. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with building adoption architecture with Symantec Enterprise Cloud Solution set for Information Protection, Cloud Security, Cloud SWG, SASE and Zero Trust. The ideal candidate for this pivotal role will have a combination of strategic and technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams in Network Security, Information Security, and Endpoint Security & Threat Research domains to drive success in the sales and adoption cycles, as well as provide consultation on critical customer situations. They should be a self-starter, energetic, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks. In this role, the candidate will be a representative of the Products organization focusing on Cloud Security solutions, supporting, and executing its strategy and technical aspects while working with our largest customers, SE communities, product managers, program management, sales operations, and more. They will have experience leading and inspiring high-performing teams, even when most or all team members are not direct reports. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with the CISO and their inner circle at strategic customers to build customer’s confidence in our solutions & help them prioritize and drive adoption outcomes of existing cloud delivered security entitlements, such as Cloud SWG, DLP Cloud, & Endpoint protection. Plan and execute objectives that align with the Products & Sales organizations' strategic business goals. One of which is, enabling our customers through their Cloud-journey with our SaaS services, such as CloudSOC/CASB, CSPM and DLP architected into it. Take ownership and provide guidance on complex or critical customer situations, such as building integrated technical architectures our customers can consult in their cloud migration. Identify key product and technical sales pertaining to Cloud Security (CloudSOC/Cloud-DLP focus) needs through customer feedback, SE leaders, sales management, and field teams. Serve as a global subject matter expert in Cloud Security, SASE and Zero Trust, influencing and developing product and solution features, product strategy, and CxO-level selling models and processes. Partner with Technical Education and Enablement, PMM, PM, Development, and QA teams for NPI and be seen as a core team member throughout all phases of product and strategy development. Ability to demonstrate the power of integrated Symantec Enterprise Cloud solution in action for commercial and technical buyers. Required Skills Proven technical and strategic leadership in sales engagements; particularly in large scale, complex and competitive and critical situations. Expertise and Hands-on experience with Symantec ProxySG, CloudSOC, & DLP Solution set. Independently articulates business value of Symantec Enterprise Cloud to CxO-level audiences (pitches and whiteboards). Well versed in established and emerging cyber security Architectures and Frameworks such as DDR, SASE and Zero Trust. Proven consistent communication and documentation skills, including regular review and communication of current plan and status Uses technical knowledge to create and deliver impactful architecture-level assets and conversations. Must be able to take work direction in the form of high-level objectives. Attains and maintains an expertise and trusted by Sales and SEs in Cloud Security technology areas at industry and product levels. Inspires confidence and trust in others through own authenticity and follow-through on commitments. Required Experience Bachelor's 12 years experience in a technical, field facing role in a networking or cyber security company focused on Cloud Security, Information Governance and Data Protection solutions. Experience with Symantec Cloud Security solutions is highly preferred. Excellent presentation skills. Successful experience working on large and complex customer engagements at the highest level of engagements Experience interacting with PM and PMM functions, feature request process and product requirements. Ability to foster strong relationships with customers, partners, sales teams, and cross-functional teams Additional Requirements · Willingness and ability to travel internationally (travel can be range from 25% to 50% at times), but should also endeavor to minimize travel by building strong relationships and developing the skills of others in the community to enable effective remote collaboration #LI-REMOTE Additional Job Description: Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $126,000 - 210,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
