829’s Recruiter is a core part of the People Team at 829 Studios. This person is tasked with continuing our exciting growth across the company and partnering with hiring managers on our evolving hiring needs. Reporting to our VP of Human Resources, our ideal candidate has experience in the full recruitment cycle and understands the digital marketing and agency space.

What You'll Do
- Manage applicant pipeline from job post, resume assessment, interview cycle, and closing/offer process in a high-growth agency environment
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Engage with passive candidates and build relationships to create a pipeline of highly skilled talent
- Collaborate with hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions to attract top talent
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in talent acquisition within the marketing industry
- Support the development, execution, and continuous optimization of various trainings focused on Recruitment and Talent attraction
- Leverage all outlets of sourcing and candidate development including job posting, job board mining, internet sourcing, social networking, employee referrals, Slack channel sourcing, and networking events (virtual or in-person)
- Track and be able to report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate pipeline status
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify qualifications and facilitate the decision-making process
- Prepare, extend and negotiate job offers
- Proactively create and foster candidate pipelines for all active and high-need roles
- Develop strong working relationships with department leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring profiles for their respective teams
- Ensure a best-in-class full lifecycle candidate experience
- Provide the People/HR Team with support on projects as needed
- Bring an optimistic, can-do approach to your work
- 3 years of proven experience as a Recruiter or Technical Recruiter, preferably in an agency or adjacent to the marketing industry
- Strong knowledge of technical roles and skills relevant to the marketing industry, including account and project management, data analytics, marketing automation, SEO, PPC, and design, content, strategy, and website development
- Experience working in LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other recruitment and job posting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple technical hiring priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decision-making as you source, engage, and nurture prospective candidates
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
- Self-starter with an aptitude for problem-solving and a positive attitude
