What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robotic Sales Specialist position at 9050-Olympus Controls?
What you’ll do:
The Robotic Sales Specialist grows robots and other end user products revenue. This is a technical sales position requiring both sales skills and drive as well as the ability to assemble, program and integrate proof of concepts. This robot position will overlap existing Sales Engineers territories so coordination with multiple Sales Engineer’s will be needed. The growth of the robot product line will be driven through the identification and development of opportunities through demonstrations. These will lead to opportunities that will many times need to be proven to customers before purchase which this role will provide. Additional details about what you will be doing includes:
- Works with the Sales Engineer team to identify and close robot opportunities within the account base and add new accounts with marketing leads
- Expected to be customer facing 75% of time demonstrating and presenting robotics and related products; “Factory of the Future” representative
- Work with the UR Business Development Manager to quote solution and follow up vigorously
- Develop a sales plan for each territory and interact with local Sales Engineer to develop and move towards current open opportunities, develop new targets and eventual close of the sale
- Assistance with marketing events for demo setup and booth attendance

Requirements:
- Sales Planning
- Typically, an engineer or someone with automation experience
- 2 – 5 years of experience in the industry preferred
- Mechanical/Electrical/Software/Mechatronics Engineering degree or equivalent 4-year degree in a technical field
