Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to provide HR support and services to employees and managers, to maintain the current HR-related programmes and new initiatives throughout the company. This position description does not form a comprehensive list of duties. It can be varied or added to within the scope of the position and as discussed during the performance planning & review process (PPR). Areas of Responsibility Recruitment and onboarding/ offboarding Liaise with hiring managers regarding the recruitment need/process and support update PD if required. Support managers using HRIS (Workday) in recruitment end to end. Prepare Job Ads and make sure all new positions are posted in the Workday/ Intranet and Job posts for Internal and External candidates. Review and shortlist CVs, initial interview with candidates (via phone, Teams) and provide a shortlist of candidates to HM. Support HM with Interview booking, Psych test (if needed) and pre-employment medicals. Send out employment packs and issue employment contracts Manage/ facilitate Onboarding for newcomers based on On-Boarding Checklist and support managers in booking meetings. Manage/ Facilitate onboarding for the factory every quarter Conduct Exit Interviews and facilitate the return of Interface office tools. HR Advisory Provide first level HR advisory support to the operation team in Minto. Training & Development Support HRM in assessing company Training requirements / Training reports and related actions. Prepare and deliver training as required (Reviewed by HRM) Liaise and manage online training courses (mandatory) through Interface Bridge and Rapid Global. Policies and Procedures Ensure HR policies and guidelines are updated, deployed, understood, and adhered to. Support HR Manager with the Enterprise Agreement renegotiations. HR Annual Practice Support HRM in implementing HR yearly practice, including Annual Performance Appraisal, Objective setting, Salary Review, Talent review and other projects. HR Production Support Provide assistance and support to production supervisors on HR advice/ EBA Implementation and streamlining of the HR policies and process. Statutory Reporting Complete reporting as required by the HRM. Complete any statutory reporting needed by external bodies such as the WGEA. Ensure all employee filings are SOX compliant. Health, Wellbeing and CSR Manage, promote and facilitate health and wellbeing programmes. Work with the nominated charities to implement programmes within the company annually. Ensure Health and Wellbeing initiatives align with WELL Certification. Organise yearly EAP awareness/ related support to employees. Communications/ Employee Events Communicate and celebrate employee achievements through Workplace noticeboards, including standard R&R such as Win of the Week, Monthly Safety Award etc. Support in organising company events such as Christmas Party & Annual Business Awards Evening, Employees farewell/ retirement. Employee Files/ Admin Set up a structure around what should be in an employee file. Audit against structure and ensure records are in the correct file. Prepare HR Letters and file them on related employee files. Manage all related administration for HR department/files and records. Payroll Be available for payroll backup every week to perform some minor payroll functions. Safety Complete CRS each month. Assist with safety initiatives if needed. Qualifications and Experience required Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, Business/Commerce, or Psychology (desirable) High level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office At least two years of experience in Industrial and Staff HR contexts- understanding awards, agreements and general employment law. Ability to structure and write clearly and the ability to communicate effectively.
