We are currently seeking a Residential Tradesman/Journeyman Electrician! You will install and maintain wiring, control, & lighting systems. And inspect electrical systems for our customers.
JOB SUMMARY
Perform skilled mechanical maintenance in the inspection, repair, installation and alteration of electrical systems and related equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, being available to be scheduled for 24/7 time slots.
- Maintain regular attendance, meet schedule & timelines and communicate any absence to their immediate supervisor and dispatch coordination.

- Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely, accurately and professionally.
- All positions at A#1 Air require the employee to be able to drive a vehicle during the day and night.
- You were hired to perform an important function at A #1 AIR. As with any group effort, operating effectively takes cooperation and commitment from everyone. Therefore, your attendance and punctuality are very important. Unnecessary absences and lateness are expensive, disruptive and place an unfair burden on your fellow employees and your Supervisors. We expect excellent attendance from each of you. Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in disciplinary action up to and including discharge.
- You must communicate to your Team Leader / Supervisor if you will be late or absent for any reason. If your Team Leader/Supervisor is not accessible, you must make every effort to contact another TL or the Officer/s. You must also call our sick/late line at (972) 512-0029, and leave a message stating your tardy or absence.
- This notification, prior to your scheduled work shift is necessary, because arrangements must be made to cover your position during your absence. If you take a company vehicle home from work, you must make arrangements for the vehicle to be accessible to the company during your absence so it can continue to be used in production.
- If the absence is due to illness or injury occurring outside the workplace and lasts for three days or more, a doctor’s excuse will be required upon returning to work.
- Any employee who fails to report to work without notice prior to shift starting will be considered to have voluntarily terminated employment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating company vehicles and will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well as, maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
- Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training and no tolerance will be accepted for the disregard of safety instructions.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections of electrical systems and installations. Repair or replace defective parts in equipment and their controls, including but not limited to; breakers, automatic switches, fan controls, relays, plugs, panels, light fixtures, branch wiring, and disconnects.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.
- Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of electrical equipment, components, timers, motors and any other wiring system as needed.
- Turning in paperwork within required time frame and correctly documenting customer information including but not limited to; name, address, phone number, equipment information, diagnostic and all recommend repairs.
- Communicate all parts orders and requisitions to dispatch coordination.
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit and placing the success of team above personal interests.
- Submit customer payments on time.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers’ License
- Clean Driving Record
- Clean Background
