Position: Accounts Payable Lead

Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Lead is responsible for providing support to the accounting department by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role involves invoice entry and assisting with the preparation of financial documents, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The AP Lead will develop a full working knowledge of our accounting systems and will assist with AR function as necessary when it comes to cash receipts, collection, and S&I invoicing when needed.
Essential Functions:
- Entering all accounts payable invoices into the QuickBooks online version.
- Upload/file all accounts payable invoices into the company's online storage.
- Answer and respond to accounts payable-related issues via office phone, work cell phone, and emails.
- Processing expense reports as needed.
- Work with the supervisor on items to be paid to vendors.
- Reconcile vendor accounts monthly as needed.
- Enter all electronic and mailed in customer payments.
- Ensure payment is applied to the correct customer invoice(s).
- Ensure customer payments match our bank transactions.
- Reconcile all unmatched deposits for each company.
- Assist with customer invoice entry for the Sales & Installation department.
- Assist with the company's annual audits.
- Assists the Department Head with various duties, projects, and initiatives as requested.
- Participates in accounting department meetings as requested.
- Communicates financial information to Department Head within the deadlines
- Other responsibilities as may be requested.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm reporting to our corporate office in Nashville, TN
Education and/or experience:
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required
- Two years' experience with Accounts Receivables and/or Accounts Payables (preferred)
Pay, Benefits, & Incentives:
- Starting pay of $21/hour - commensurate on experience
