Master Quality Technician

Position Description:

The Master Quality Technician (MQT) serves as an expert in beverage dispensing systems while taking a leading role above Draft Quality Technicians (DQT). You will be responsible for ensuring local bars and restaurants serve the highest quality pints of draft beer by cleaning and servicing their draft beer lines.

A typical day will consist of visiting customer establishments on a route to keep their draft beer systems clean and pouring great beer as well as building relationships with managers, owners, and bartenders.

Typical work hours are M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m (typically no weekend schedule but regular overtime opportunities may be available)

Position Responsibilities:

• Clean, service, and maintain draft beer systems, wine on tap, cocktails on tap, coffee on tap, etc.
• Weekly management of assigned accounts on your route.
• Work with the Market Manager (MM) or Assistant Market Manager (AMM) on account coverage for each day.
• Cover for DQTs who are out to maintain the route's 2-week cleaning schedule.
• Assist DQTs on large accounts where 2 or more technicians are needed.
• Assist with initial and ongoing training needs for DQTs.
• Use of communication and verification tools to confirm that the assigned lines are being serviced within the designated time frame.
• Maintain communication with customers and management as to the status of assigned accounts.

Position Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Mechanical aptitude / mechanical inclination.
• Proven ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn how to clean, service, and maintain multiple beverage dispensing systems.
• Willingness to learn about the operations and functions of multiple beverage dispensing systems.

Starting Salary:

• Up to $19.80/hour growth opportunities and overtime hours
