The Hinckley Company, known for building and servicing strong, seaworthy and beautiful yachts, is seeking a Cleaner/Detailer for our boat yard in Easton, MD.
Essential Duties:
- Cleans and details boats
- Vacuum interior to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner; pump bilge.
- Using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices treats areas to remove dust, dirt, grease, and grime.
- Understanding of various cleaning agents for use on specific boat parts.
- Perform fall inventory and clean boats prior to winter storage.
- Installs and dismantles Bimini, dodger, cushions, curtains
- Set up boat for summer delivery and packs for winter storage.
- Reports problems to other departments for repair.
- May have heavy contact with customers, requiring diplomacy and pleasant attitude.
- Understands and performs all work to Hinckley quality standards.
- Performs other related duties as necessary.
