What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Engineering position at A/I/DATA?
A/I/DATA is searching for an engineering project manager to take responsibility for the successful management of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) projects and personnel. A management background in utility design, construction or inspection in lieu of SUE experience may be acceptable.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Client management and coordination to provide exceptional service delivery in compliance with applicable practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications including ASCE 38
- Management of project team, schedule, budget and quality of deliverables
- Coordination with other project managers on staffing, mentoring, scheduling and quality reviews
- Project cost estimating
- Participation in the improvement process for project deliverables
- Enhancement of the company's reputation as an exceptional provider of SUE and survey services
Experience, Education & Skills
- Proven working experience as a project engineer; 1-2 years of project management experience in civil engineering, underground utility design or construction, transportation design or construction, or land surveying.
- Professional Engineer, Land Surveyor, and/or Professional Geologist license preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced MS Office skills; familiarity with CAD drafting software
- Expertise with ASCE 38 preferred
- Decision making ability and leadership skills
- Time management and organization skills
- Engaged in ongoing education, training or professional development activities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
