Warehouse Associates - Pharmacy [1st Shift]

WAREHOUSE PHARMACY- MT. PROSPECT, IL-

SHIFT-M-F 7am-3:30 pm

PAY- $18.16

Preferred:
-1 years warehouse experience
- 1 years experience in purchasing, receiving, shipping, and/or inventory control
- 1 years computer experience in a Windows with good knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience in training others on policies and procedures
- Strong computer skills
- Forklift/heavy machinery experience
- Inventory management experience

For new technicians in the state of Illinois, either 1) a valid pharmacy technician license (validated by a PSV from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation website) or 2) receipt of payment for a new tech license must be provided on day 1 of hire. If neither of these are furnished on day 1, the candidate will be sent home. If a technician had a license and it has lapsed, a new valid license must be provided an verified on day 1. A renewal application receipt will not count.

forklift certification/willingness to learn how to operate machinery is a PLUS (notate at top of resume)

This position is responsible for the tasks associated with the management of inventory at the assigned facility. Specific tasks would include, but are not limited to receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, and selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.

Physical Demands:

This position is physically demanding requiring an individual to lift up to 50-70 pounds (team lifting OK, but might need to do on their own from time to time). Must be able to stand, walk and lift for several hours at a time. This position is physically demanding.

Work Environment:

Warehouse may be licensed in some states by the State Board of Pharmacy and therefore have security/pharmacy restrictions. May be exposed to hazardous materials through the packing and shipping processes.

As a materials Coordinator working in the backend of the pharmacy, you get to perform a variety of roles including but not limited to processing all inventory received, assisting in the flow of inventory/purchasing processes, the disposition of the returned materials, and inventory maintenance (slotting, NDC & location changes).
