As our Staffing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding, coaching, and overseeing our team of dedicated staff who bring exceptional talent into the organization. This role includes managing our full cycle recruiting team and supporting our Volunteer Supervisor who oversees the recruiting and onboarding of individual volunteers and interns within the organization.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and a proactive leader who will be responsible for managing and implementing our recruitment strategies and developing strategic, data-focused, and top-tier recruitment approaches for recruiting and onboarding staff. This involves assisting the team in meeting recruitment targets and refining existing processes while introducing new methods to improve efficiencies.
Utilizing your passion for our mission you will ensure the team creates meaningful experiences that drive engagement in all aspects of our work. You will have a strong work ethic and can champion new initiatives and lead process change toward constant growth and improvement.
Exempt Position: $60K - $70K DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday

Required
- 5 years of experience with full life cycle corporate recruiting or workforce planning to include networking, sourcing, recruiting, negotiating offers and hiring.
- 3 years of demonstrated success and experience leading and managing recruiters or human resources professionals.
- Demonstrated experience establishing strong relationships with leaders at all levels
- High level of experience tracking, reporting and managing recruiting compliance requirements.
- Experience leveraging creative sourcing strategies and demonstrated return on investment.
- Proficient in using and implementation of applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media and other recruitment technologies.
- Experience coordinating and managing teams, teaching skills, and communicating a workplace culture.
- Experience as a nonprofit volunteer coordinator or manager with a proven record of volunteer engagement and retention is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
- Lead, coach, monitor, and develop the recruiting team in an effective and professional manner to successfully execute against defined business objectives and service standards and achieve performance metrics
- Analyzes team member trends and metrics to proactively identify and lead initiatives to meet organizational objectives.
- Builds strong relationships across the organization to ensure trust, confidence and credibility
- Provide oversight in developing the framework, templates, and tools aimed at creating efficiencies and simplify the talent acquisition process with consistent execution.
- Performs recruitment responsibilities to include sourcing, interviewing and selection of assigned positions.
- Oversees the candidate experience to ensure the highest level of engagement
- Collaborate directly with leadership and department managers to meet the organization's staffing needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
