X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant

Job description

Seeking a friendly, organized and motivated full-time X-ray Technician/Medical Assistant for a fast-paced Urgent Care. Excellent customer service skills are a must.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greet patients warmly and kindly on the phone and in person, make them feel welcome
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
• Demonstrate compassion to patients
• Place patients in exam rooms. Take vital signs and performs all ancillary tests appropriate to skill level
• Collect patient history and document appropriately in EHR
• Assist providers during examination, treatment, and procedures
• Apply bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered by the medical provider
• Stock rooms with required supplies
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment
• Perform X-Rays
• Perform Medical Assistant duties
• Keep accurate Log of all X-Rays performed on site
• Keep exam rooms between patients and other common areas clean
• Perform other assigned duties or those within the scope of an X-RayTechnician/Medical Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Certified X-ray and Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)

• Spanish (Preferred)
