What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner/Floater position at A Quality Facility Services?
Job Purpose:
The role of a Floater is a crucial role in which the Floater is the first line of defense in ensuring a smooth experience for the client and a profitable one for the company. A Floater will be the one individual assigned to cover shortages in staffing in any building needed.
Duties
- A Floater will be trained on all positions & locations to ensure operations do not become disrupted due to staffing shortages.
- A Floater can be expected to be assigned to any given location between 4:30pm-1:00am but needs to be available at any time. You are expected to be at the specified building at the time given by the Supervisor (Floaters have this expectation within agreed upon times), this may include weekends.
- Providing the Supervisor with monthly supply orders due to the Supervisor by the first day of the month in any locations that do not currently have employees based in them.
- Be accountable to the Supervisor for labor overages daily along with any customer complaints that may arise. A Floater needs to have a reasonable explanation ready when labor overages occur as the Supervisor will be discussing overages daily.
- Doing walkthroughs after cleaners and EOCs that were filling in at buildings.
- Assisting the Supervisor in the training and development of staff.
