The successful candidate will support the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in accurately preparing and dispensing prescription medications under a licensed pharmacist's supervision.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting patients with inquiries, processing transactions, and professionally addressing concerns.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to ensure medication availability.
- Ensure all pharmacy operations adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain precise patient records and pharmacy documentation.
- Efficiently handle insurance claims processing and resolve reimbursement issues.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
