Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented member to join our team. The Assistant Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, managing certain administrative tasks, and providing support to the team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and atleast 2 years in dentistry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations
- Oversee and complete administrative tasks such as insurance verification and billing
- Maintain office supplies inventory
- Assist in the development of training programs for new employees
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Ensure the smooth operation of office equipment and systems, including phone systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience in dental administration and billing or similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Mastery in insurance, billing, payments, and scheduling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Prior knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
