What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Sales Agent position at AAA New Mexico?
AAA New Mexico has immediate opportunities for motivated individuals to join our exclusive team of Insurance Sales Agents. Our door is opened to talented sales professionals with the ambition, initiative, self-determination, strong work ethic, career dedication and winning attitude.
We are looking for Sales Agents to professionally represent and sell Auto Club memberships and insurance products. Our extensive training program prepares you to become a Licensed Sales Agent selling memberships, auto, homeowners and umbrella insurance. This role requires you to obtain a Property & Casualty license. This position works exclusively in our Las Cruce Branch Office where Sales Agents engage in sales activities, set appointments and assist with on-site inspections.
Your success will require you to:
- Source, develop leads, prospect and continually network
- Possess a competitive sales drive to meet and exceed monthly goals
- Be an effective communicator both written and verbal
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain retention
- Be self-motivated and fully committed to building a profitable business
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of sales experience highly preferred
- Have computer experience and good organization skills
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty License
- Provide proof of automobile liability insurance at time of hire
