Job Description
- In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of our quality management systems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain our quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Create and manage documentation relating to quality systems, including procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
- Train employees on quality assurance processes and standards to ensure consistent understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve quality-related issues.
- Analyze and interpret quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in quality regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Audit raw material suppliers to assess quality systems compliance.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science in Quality Engineering, or related degree. Or five to seven years of experience and education combined.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, quality management, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and regulations (e.g., AS9100, IATF16949, ISO 9001, ISO14001)
- Strong understanding of Core Tools and Problem Solving
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
