Summary/Objective:
The Financial Analysis Manager is responsible for conducting quantitative analysis of financial information affecting the performance and productivity of AAMP Global. This role prepares financial reports, recommends budgeting actions and collaborates closely with all members of the executive team to achieve key business objectives. This position is a hands-on leader who will also direct the Accounts Receivable department and ensure the customer accounts are properly reconciled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports by downloading information from multiple sources and compile information into an informative and understandable spreadsheet.
- Create and maintain monthly reports to compare and analyze actual results with budgets, forecasts, and previous results.
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
- Ensure accurate financial information for all company reports.
- Report on revenues and expenses for all product types and customer types and identify incremental business opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze ad hoc operational and financial performance analysis.
- Measure and report on programs to determine the overall productivity and profitability of the program.
- Hires, trains, and conducts performance reviews for employees in the Accounts Receivable department
- Research, develops, and facilitates reconciliation procedures according to company policies
- Ensures the security and privacy of customer information.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audits.
- Reconcile cash accounts, customer accounts and other financial accounts
- Assist with month-end processes.
- Work directly with all AAMP Global departments and customers on product pricing and dispute resolution.
Requirements:
- Must possess a thorough grasp on all AP functions.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Demonstrate competence in leadership and decision-making.
- Ability to keep accurate and detailed records.
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Must be comfortable working with confidential data.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
- 5 years’ experience in comparable field or position
- 5 years’ managerial experience
- NetSuite experience preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Supervises 1 direct report which may expand to additional staff over time.
Environmental/Physical Requirements:
- Indoor offices with controlled temperature
- May sit for long periods of time
- Crouching, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, and lifting occasionally
- Operating computer, telephone, voicemail and other office equipment regularly
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs on a regular basis
FLSA Status: Exempt
Hours – 9am – 6pm (one hour lunch), Monday – Friday
