What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator position at ABACUS DERMATOLOGY MANAGE?
Our Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) will play a key role in our exclusive medispa, Arria. This role will serve as a provider-patient liaison and focus on driving new business while ensuring existing patients receive outstanding service at our premier Plastic Surgery practice. At Arria, this role is responsible for managing our patients’ appointment journey and total life cycle by fostering patient retention, increasing revenue per encounter, and ensuring excellent patient outcomes in a high-touch environment.
The ideal candidate is a natural salesperson responsible for supporting Arria’s revenue growth through strong sales, event support, marketing support & staff education. This role serves as a vital link between the patient and the provider. Therefore, one must be a natural multitasker with exceptional communication and listening skills while being efficient and detail-oriented. Lastly, this individual should contribute to the overall positive work environment and generate enthusiasm among the staff and patients for the products and services.
Responsibilities:
· Manage patient flow with the team from check-in to check-out.
· Optimizing daily provider schedules for the most efficient patient flow and treatment experience.
· Schedule non-surgical consultations, and manage callbacks, voicemails, inquiries, and leads.
· Coordinate patient pre-procedure paperwork, examinations, and lab work; and confirm written procedure consent.
· Discuss pricing with patients (single pricing and packages), build quotes, provide financial counseling & discuss a range of payment options.
· Collect & post payments with accuracy.
· Pre & post-procedure patient care coordination & support, both in person and during follow-up calls.
· Drive product & treatment sales and take part in a rich incentive plan.
· Maintain a high conversion rate from consult to treatment.
· Drive Arria’s vision of patient care excellence by supporting all aspects of the treatment plan and patient experience as needed.
· Seek continuing education and opportunities to stay on top of the latest treatments and services in the medical cosmetic & aesthetic space.
· In conjunction with the providers, promote staff training & support with the most up-to-date treatment information, treatment approach, pricing, and specials available to patients through the medispa.
· Work in conjunction with marketing to develop sales collateral & marketing materials to drive net new patients to Arria.
· Observe HIPAA, privacy & IT security guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
· Background in cosmetic & aesthetic sales or similar industry.
· Prior experience in plastic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, or cosmetic medicine is a plus.
· Engaging, professional presence with an inviting demeanor and strong communication skills.
· White glove customer service skills.
· Knowledge of cosmetic & aesthetic procedures or the interest and ability to learn.
· Must thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment.
