Description:
" Provide the Biscuit Platform Digital R&D team support in organizing, leading and executing experimental work to support the build and improvements to our key models & simulations under guidance of a manager, subject matter experts and team. This can include making batches of various Oreo doughs and biscuits at the lab, and pilot plant, running relevant testing on said doughs, performing statistical analysis of results in Minitab. And make recommendations on Model improvement leveraging said results. The role will work cross functionally including NA Biscuit Platform R&D, our Analytical & Material Science team to coordinate experiments, data collection and sample collection with our analytical partners to test material properties including heat and mass transfer properties, rheological properties, etc. Responsibilities include:
o Create experimental protocols using sound statistical approaches like Design of Experiments (we can upskill you on DOE & statistical tools)
o Coordinate with cross functional teams to execute experimental protocols
o Executing experiments including making of cookie doughs, testing of doughs, baking of doughs and testing of baked cookies
o Analyzing results from experiments statistically and qualitatively to recommend next steps and model improvements
o Writing protocols and reports for experimentation.
o Booking and requesting required resources like equipment, lab, pilot, trials, etc.
o Ordering raw materials for the work
o Leveraging subject matter experts for feedback and support as needed
o Calculating budget requirements for work with team and subject matter experts
o Putting together timelines of work with team and subject matter experts
o Presenting and communicating the results to team and leaders as needed.
