Strategic Pricing Leader for North America
Your role and responsibilities
The Pricing Specialist will play an integral part in the implementation of ABB-EL pricing policies and daily operations through price negotiations with product management and the commercial sales team covering SB (Smart Building) and SP (Smart Power) product portfolio.
The Pricing Specialist will impact profitability and NPV through strategic pricing and decision making. This position is fully remote for candidates based in the continental US.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in North America. You will be mainly accountable for :
Strategically review and approve regional standards and special pricing agreements utilizing trade area data, market & channel impact, product line strategy, price and profitability.
Train / consult sales and region leaders on how to improve and make profitable pricing decisions.
- Analyze volume / price / mix / share interactions by trade area, customer, product line, agreement type, regions, and salesperson.
- Drive standardization of processes across regions and product lines. Actively support to Customer Service Team related to price blocks, price disputes and other price queries.
- Support the team's efforts to document pricing strategies, processes and market feedback. Use business tools to analyze opportunities to improve price performance.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Ability to communicate and operate at all levels in English. (Spanish is an asset.)
- Deep knowledge in ABB-EL Industrial Solutions products and tools (Excel, SAP, Vistaar and Vistex) is a clear asset.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
