This position reports to
Sales Manager, West Region
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective sales strategist within the Measurement and Analytics division, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations.
Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and / or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.
You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.
The work model for the role is work from home. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Texas.
You will be mainly accountable for :
- Anticipating and identifying the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions, proactively.
- Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources.
- Planning and executing customer surveys and acts on the survey results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.
Qualifications for the role
- Associate's Degree with combined 4 years' experience in instrumentation sales through direct and or indirect channel partners or distribution.
- Leverage your existing relationships in the industry to bring new selling opportunities to ABB
- Intense competitor knowledge; Passion for selling and winning.
- Resilience to overcome rejection.
- Obsessive focus on end users, their wants and needs, their goals and objectives, how they buy, how they maintain their equipment, how they partner with suppliers.
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels in ABB, our channel partners, and our end users (from field personnel to corner office).
- Solid understanding of instrumentation, liquid measurement, level technology and markets
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
