The Opportunity

Reporting to the Quality Director this role will lead the Complaint Handling Process Continuous Improvement initiatives for ADC providing strategic and project management leadership. The role will be the Continuous Improvement Champion, helping to promote and foster a culture of transformational change and continuous improvement. Develop long term strategies to meet division goals. Drives continuous improvement and strategy for development and maintenance of methods and enabling systems that accurately demonstrate the degree to which the project/program goals, objectives and metrics are being met.

Leads strategic initiatives to assess the status of the Complaints Handling process and identify continuous improvement opportunities that increase productivity and improve compliance. The activities can include LEAN and Automation strategies that in partnership with Service Supplier reduce the costs of complaint handling while improving compliance requirements for accuracy and timeliness. The role will set strategic direction for technological solutions to support overall Complaint Handling Process.

Interacts with management to reach agreement regarding significant program strategies. Present strategies and updates to management and stakeholders. Assure that projects will effectively integrate with existing programs and strategies. Formulates long term strategic objectives and implements project plans, ensures milestones are met and prioritizes as required to meet commitments. Recognize the broader implications of actions and proposals on the final project outcome, related systems and activities, and general business strategy.

Manages one or more projects with moderate complexity. Complies with quality system. Defines the nature of the stated business or technical problem. Analyze date for true causes of problems. Develop project specifications and objectives, strategies, timelines and milestones/design and development plan. Utilize project scheduling software to plan and track projects.

Interface with other disciplines, customers, internal clients, and project staff and internal/ external experts as required. Establishes relationships with business partners to develop strategies that incorporate value, risks, operational impacts (ROI) and cost of proposed solutions with focus on increase productivity and improve compliance.

Anticipates, recognizes, communicates and manages quality issues within the organization and works with appropriate cross-functional areas to recommend actions to resolve issues.

Implement quality standards, ensure and execute compliance on every stage of the process.

What You’ll Work On

  • Develop and implements quality assurance strategies and regulations.
  • Assesses potential risks, ensures compliance and gives recommendations.
  • Takes responsibility for all quality control aspects of the process (laboratories studies, clinical research, testing, operations, raw materials, production, finished product or services).
  • Facilitates audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Liaises with external vendors, contractors or suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization's quality standards.
  • Coordinates quality trainings.
  • Coordinate input from multiple areas or multiple functional managers on related projects. Identify resource requirements, cost, and time schedules.
  • Develop an implementation plan, conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to accommodate unforeseen events.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through project planning exercises to develop detailed schedules and integrated annual improvement plan.
  • Assist management in selecting the specific action plans that will best meet the identified long-term business issues. Anticipate long-term future problems, resolve current issues, learn and adjust based on prior results and prior project leadership experience. Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed.

Required Qualifications

  • BS with 7 years’ relevant experience, including business / QA experience.
  • Black-belt/Lean certification and PMP (Project Management Professional) certification are preferred.
  • Extensive experience with project management and general business principles required.

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,500.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
