JOB SUMMARY: Sources, recruits, and onboards new employees to the company
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Utilize various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking events) to source and attract candidates.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future job openings.
- Build relationships with colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to create a talent pool.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for the role.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and send offer letters and employment contracts.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training schedules.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
- Act as a point of contact for new employees during their initial period at the company.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and preferences.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions and candidates.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on recruitment strategies and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Assist with employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing efforts.
- Support other HR functions and special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 3 years of proven experience as a recruiter, with a track record of successfully sourcing and hiring top talent.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques.
- Proficient with Google Drive and Google applications
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Able to work independently, and think of new ways to recruit talent
