Responsibilities
- · Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
- · Help with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- · Plan and prepare meals
- · Remind clients to take prescribed medication
- · Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
- · Perform housekeeping duties
- · Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- · Offer assistance with activities that are essential for daily living
Qualifications
- · Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- · Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- · Take pride in providing high quality care
- · Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- · Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment is beneficial
- · Reliable transportation every single day, valid driver’s license is preferred
- · Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- · High school diploma or equivalent, experience as a caregiver or CNA
- · Ability to lift 25 pounds, bear up to 50 pounds of weight, to bend, kneel and lift, and to perform physical job-related duties

Pay: Beginning pay of 10/hr or more depending on experience
