Position Summary Details
The Grounds Keeper maintains property grounds by cutting lawns; trimming and edging along walkways, flower beds and walls; trims bushes and trees; plants bushes and flowers; applies lawn care chemicals, as needed; and removes snow and spreads salt. Also repairs and maintains mowers, blowers, and sprinkler systems. Monday-Friday (6:00am-2:30pm)
Pay: $17 per hour

Essential Functions
· Assists the Critical Facility Technician with testing and rounds.
· Ensures strict adherence to critical facility work rule and safety procedures.
· Is familiar with all applicable Federal, State, and local rules, codes, and regulations.
Responsibilities
· The Grounds Keeper maintains property grounds by cutting lawns; trimming and edging along walkways, flower beds and walls; trims bushes and trees; plants bushes and flowers; applies lawn care chemicals, as needed; and removes snow and spreads salt. Also repairs and maintains mowers, blowers, and sprinkler systems.
· Performs preventive maintenance on all building equipment
· Assists, as necessary, with scheduling of preventative maintenance, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance with minimal disruption of building services
· Responds quickly to emergency situations and customer concerns
· Has knowledge of warehouse/inventory management principles and best practices
· Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Is able to prioritize projects and has strong problem-solving skills
· Has good research skills and is highly organized, with strong attention to detail
· Is able to work independently· Is able to speak, read, and write English
Qualifications
· One year of similar experience preferred.
· Must be 18 years of age or older
