Position Summary Details
The Lead Cook prepares and serves high quality and quantity a la cart hot foot menu items and baked goods for patients, hospital staff, and visitors. Performs food preparation functions from production schedule using the prescribed methods of quality and quantity cooking procedures set forth in standardized recipes (both regular and diet modifications). Produce a la carte foods in a high volume fast paced environment consistently. Completed preparation of menu items to meet established meal service schedules.
Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED
- 3 yrs of experience in a professional kitchen
- ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
Preferred Qualifications:
- Short order cook experience preferred
- Customer Service experience
- 1 yr of similar work experience
