Position Summary Details
The Thrift Store Clerk provides excellent customer service to the public in a Retail Sales Outlet, stocks shelves with product, manages inventory accuracy, and operates a cash register. Duties may include conducting inventory of incoming product, maintaining cleanliness of work area, collecting money from the customer and providing correct change, and accurately accounting for all daily transactions.
Essential Functions
- The Bakery Outlet Clerk is responsible for daily customer transactions.
- The Bakery Outlet Clerk must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills for all customer transactions
Responsibilities
- Accountable for sales transactions
- Make sure correct change is given and all transactions are accounted for correctly
- Count down cash drawer with shift lead present to ensure accurate counts and reporting
- Provide customer service and information to patrons in and exiting the outlet store.
- Responsible for quality service, customer satisfaction, clean facility areas, and a safe work environment
- Responsible for accurate inventory count, stock and replenish shelves with product
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- No Experience Necessary
- Customer Service Experience Preferred
- Cash Handling Experience Preferred
