Abscope Environmental, Inc., an environmental remediation firm is seeking qualified Heavy Equipment Operators to work on a short-term project (3-6 months) in Dallas Fort Worth, TX
Job Duties:
- Inspect assigned equipment daily
- Work diligently on assigned tasks
- Notify supervisor in a timely manner of any job-related issues, incidents or accidents
- Work in harmony with supervisor and fellow employees
- Report any equipment abnormalities to the supervisor immediately
- Accurately report daily hours worked to supervisor
- Fuel and grease assigned equipment daily
- Safely operate assigned equipment
- Actively participate in company safety culture
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a journeyman operator
- Experience working in and around residential properties is a plus
- Must be able to operate small and large excavators, dozer, and loader
- Current 40-hour HAZWOPER a must
- Current EPA-accredited asbestos training (32 or 40 hour)
- Strong understanding of safety regulations for construction sites
- Strong understanding of site survey control
- Thorough understanding of the proper operation and maintenance of heavy equipment
- Understanding of automated GPS survey and grade control.
- Must possess a high degree of integrity
- Must pass company pre-employment medical exam and drug test
