Acenda's expert team helps each individual, family and community move forward in their journey towards health and happiness. You'd be joining a team of counselors focused on implementing the FPS program model to help support, stabilize and enhance the wellbeing of families involved with DCP&P where the children are at risk of abuse or neglect. Key Responsibilities: Provide short-term, intensive, in-home counseling to 2 families at a time, each receiving a minimum of 5 hours of weekly face-to-face contact. Teach, coach and model parenting skills and effective parent-child interactions and advocate and link families to concrete services and supports.
