What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician III position at AcariaHealth Pharmacy?

Position Purpose: Work with the Pharmacists to accurately prepare prescription orders in a timely manner- Prepare, count, label, and package pharmaceuticals for Pharmacist approval.
- Interact with various departments to provide accurately dispensed prescriptions on a timely basis.
- Accurately calibrate equipment and document calibration according to policy.
- Assist with the maintenance of pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs and documents maintenance.
- Maintain prescription logs.
- Comply with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, legal, state, and federal regulatory requirements
For AcariaHealth Pharmacy Team Only:
Responsible for inventory ordering and procurement activities, including order check controls and procedures to ensure protection of company assets.
Coordinate the monthly physical inventory process including cycle counts, aging inventory management, and expired inventory return.
For AcariaHealth Prescription Drug Monitoring Team Only:
Create and submit required Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) data to each state’s PDMP program within required timeframe
Monitor submission status, advise management of issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 3 years of pharmacy technician or medical office (i.e. biller, coder, office assistance, or prior authorization/certification) experience. Knowledge of drugs commonly used to treat chronic/debilitating illnesses.
License/Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
