ACCEL Schools is seeking highly-qualified a Virtual Testing Specialist for our upcoming 2024-2025 school year! ACCEL Schools is a K-12 public charter school management organization (CMO) serving students across the United States in brick-and-mortar, virtual, and hybrid school settings. We focus on improving academic outcomes of students regardless of geographic location or socioeconomic factors.
The Testing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the planning and implementation of all local and state assessments. This position reports directly to the School Director of Operations and works collaboratively with the Testing Manager to manage the logistics of testing.

The Testing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the planning and implementation of all local and state assessments. This position reports directly to the School Director of Operations and works collaboratively with the Testing Manager to manage the logistics of testing.
- Applicants in Colorado, California, New York, and Washington State are not eligible for this position** Responsibilities:
- Maintain necessary accounts with the Department of Education and other testing vendors
- Maintain accurate student and teacher data in state testing databases
- Complete student roster upload into testing systems and export performance data
- Assist with resolving data and technical issues that arise from internal and external partners
- Manage distribution of student testing result reports to families
- Coordinate communications for staff and families with respect to testing
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports along with continuous feedback to management
- Create distribute, and manage testing site staffing plans and assignments
- Coordinate distribution and collection of testing materials and supplies
- Attend all professional development offered by the district and state regarding testing
- Collaborate with guidance counselors to assign appropriate EOC assessments to students
- Perform all other job duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree required/ Master’s degree preferred
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google , and Suites web-based applications
- Excellent data entry skills
- High quality written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write and explain instructions
- Excellent organization and time management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain composure and job performance under stressful conditions
- Customer service orientation
- Ability and willingness to travel to testing sites within the state up to 10% of time
- Previous experience with testing administration in K-12 schools preferred
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
- Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI)
