Responsibilities
Sales Development Manager Responsibilities:
Manages regional operations or sales operations of Private Pay and/or Medicaid Branches within the Personal Care Services Division. Position includes strategic oversight of business goal planning, creation of relevant training and development programs and playbooks, new hire onboarding programs and evaluation programs. Operations leadership to include running multiple branches or regional territory, partnering with Sales Management and Sales Execs to execute on business development, planned initiatives, onboarding, training and developing new and existing team members. May manage a team, ensuring appropriate retention and engagement monthly initiatives are prioritized. Oversees planning, implementing, and managing PCS and Corporate initiatives, budgeting and team building. Responsibilities include strategic development and management of the Back Office staff and community relationships within the territory. If overseeing regional branches, could be responsible for revenues of up to $6,000,000 annually including multiple branches (4 or more total locations).
- Ensures complete understanding and oversight of the overall operations of the Back Office and Satellite locations:
- Full P&L responsibilities of the Field Branch Sites and any Satellites: revenue generation and recognition, gross margin management, expense management impacting bottom line contribution, tracking and follow-up of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to meet budget expectations
- Participate in annual budgeting process including projecting revenue, gross margin and bottom line contribution numbers
- Responsible for ensuring exemplary standards in the care of our clients and our referral sources by empowering Field Care Givers
- Ensure adherence, not only for themselves but for Care Giver staff as well, to applicable company policies and procedures, and all applicable compliance requirements for the Care Center
- Responsible for recruiting, training and maintaining top talent in all positions as it relates to the Division and the area
- Responsible for ensuring implementation of corporate initiatives and team building at the Care Center and satellites
- Trains new leaders on daily operational functions and/or Oversees daily operational functions of Field Branch Offices and satellites:
- Responsible for ensuring oversight on the day-to-day activities of all office staff, to include recruiting, hiring, assessment activity, staffing / scheduling, risk management requirements, payroll / billing requirements, and all compliance and human resource needs
- Responsible for ensuring the Field Branch sites and Satellites maintain appropriate quality and depth of the Care Partner pool to meet our business development objectives
- Responsible for ensuring the overall service levels we provide to our clients and referral sources are maintained to company standards
- Ensures Field Branch Sites and satellite locations are managing pay and bill ratios to achieve budgeted gross margin dollars, review reports regularly
- Responsible for approving and coding Field Branch Site Accounts Payable activities, as necessary
- Oversees management of petty cash and office funds to ensure proper handling, as necessary
- Review all account payable expenditures for the Area on a regular basis to achieve bottom line contribution budget
- Communicates procedural changes to office staff and ensures compliance
- Drives Strategic Sales Training Program Needs and/or Supports business development initiatives for the Field Branch Sites and satellites
- Supports sales management and sales staff with key referral sources, and in their overall community activities, as beneficial to the Area.
- Ensures Field Branch sites generate revenue by developing and maintaining relationships with house account referral sources
- Develops and maintains relationships, at a managerial level, with all contracted referral partners ensuring AccentCare is exceeding their expectations on all levels
- Partners with the sales team to develop creative service programs to meet the specific needs of our key facility referral partners.
- Responsible for ensuring all cross referral opportunities within the Area are identified and sourced appropriately
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Sales Development Manager Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Three to Five years of branch or center supervisory experience required
- Three to Five Years management of people experience
- Multi - site management required or understanding of experience needed to perform critical functions of multi site management with proven applicable experience
- Two years of direct P & L responsibility required
- One or more years of Business Development responsibility required, preferably in the Sales Training area
- Home Care or Personal Care Services Staffing Experience preferred but not mandated
- Valid Driver's License
