Job Title: Team Lead - (Must have a Clinical background - MA or LPN)
Reports To: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Summary: The Team Lead oversees daily office activities to ensure smooth operations and performs related administrative duties
Duties and Responsibilities: Including but not limited to:
- Coordinates and monitors office operations to ensure company requirements and goals are sufficiently met on a daily basis
- Plans goals/objectives and meetings for the medical office
- Provides qualified staff to support and contribute to the needs of the practice
- Monitors office procedures and resolves problems through collaboration with the provider, staff and implements changes as needed
- Notifies appropriate department head regarding problems related to patient service, employee relations, accounting procedures and computer systems
- Arranges for routine and necessary maintenance of all office equipment
- Troubleshoots and resolves all computer problems by communicating with the IT Dept.
- Delegates duties to staff and provides instruction as needed
- Coordinates and oversees the completion of special projects (ie. MRA, HEDIS, 5 STAR)
- Completes timesheets at the end of the pay period
- Safety Coordinator tasks and responsibilities are completed
- Ensures office/medical supplies are ordered as needed
- Ensures all legal matters are properly handled in a timely manner
- Ensures all Access Policies and Procedures are properly followed by all employees.
- Contact appropriate company for necessary preventative maintenance / service on office equipment and maintain related files
- Work amicably with others
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and two to four years related medical experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year supervisory experience preferred. MA Certification.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and be able to handle various personalities.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Libre office and the Patient Data Base.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid Drivers License
CPR/First Aid preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees. Including training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work: appraisal performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
