Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining financial reports, preparing journal entries, and performing reconciliations, while supporting the company’s financial operations. To ensure that our accounting practices are accurate and align with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of financial statements, ensuring alignment with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Assist with balance sheet account reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
- Assist in analyzing variances between actuals and budgeted figures to identify financial trends and opportunities.
- Overtime analysis and other payroll reporting.
- Generate and analyze inventory processes
- Support audits and work with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and respond to inquiries.
- Ensure that financial controls and procedures are being followed and recommend improvements when necessary.
- Support credit card charging system for internal use.
- Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency in accounting operations.
- Assist in various special projects and ad hoc financial reporting as required by management.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Compensation:
$65,000 to $75,000 per year
Schedule:
