Seeking a Direct Support Professional for an Active Young Man
You can make a difference in the life of someone special while having fun! We are looking for an engaging staff (1:1 support) to work with a young adult male who is kind and looking to social in his community. In this role, you will be providing either support with independent living skills and/or opportunities for socialization. The ideal candidate will exhibit qualities of a good role model by exhibiting the following: respect, integrity, communication and positivity. Ideal candidate will have experience providing community habilitation and enhancing opportunities for people in their community.
Hours: Thursday and/or Friday from 10a-1p; if you are available for only one of these days you are still encouraged to apply!
Pay rate: $25-$30, additionally $.67 per mile for transportation reimbursement
Location: Auburn, NY
Reliable transportation is required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by non-profit agency.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 per week
