This is a fulltimeposition. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday from 11am 8pmTuesday Thursday and Friday from 7am 4pm and occasional Saturdaymornings from 8am12pm.

EssentialJobQualifications :

- An organized responsibledetailoriented individual who is accountable for taking in newpatients and ensuring all of their appointments are appropriatelyscheduled authorizations / Reevaluations received and copayscollected to ensure payment.
- Aconfident good listener who communicates the value of physicaltherapy and actively grows the business by looking for andrecognizing opportunities to initiate and obtainreferrals.
- Maintain a safe and cleanworking environment by complying with procedures rules andregulations.
- Provide equipment andsupplies by disinfecting and delivering equipment and supplies totreatment area; position equipment for therapist access;
interactwith patients and ensures theircomfort.
- Maintain therapy suppliesinventory by checking stock to determine inventory level;anticipate needed supplies; place and expedite orders for suppliesfrom approved vendor list; verify receipt ofsupplies.
- Assist clinicians bypreparing hot packs and helping to setup exercise equipment asneeded.
AssignedResponsibilities or Duties :
- Greetingall patients and directing them to the appropriate area or staff.
- Operating a central telephoneconsole or multiline system to receive and route calls.
- Daily duties include schedulingappointments and initial evaluations taking initial intakeinformation typing faxing documentselectronically
- Collecting copaymentsand wellness store purchases calling patients who have missedappointments
- Assisting therapistswith laundry escorting patients into gym making sure patients arecomfortable.
- Set up and clean up forpatient sessions.
- Asking questionsto determine the customers needs and directing customers / visitorsto the appropriatestaff.
Administrativeduties toinclude :
Callinginsurance companies to verify benefits and request authorizationsprinting of medical records as requested welcome letters to newpatients and MDs thank you letters to MDs updating physicians andnew patients in the referral database running frequency reportsweekly in the scheduler and any other tasks assigned to he / she bythedirector.
Thisposition may requireexperience :
- Operatinga multiline telephonesystem
- Accessing data using acomputerized records system
- Makingchange and cashiering
- Seating forlong periods of time and lifting up to 30pounds.
