As the Human Resources Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the HR operations for multiple locations within a specified region. Your primary objective will be to ensure effective HR practices, policies, and strategies are implemented across the region to support the company's mission, vision, and values. Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives, including talent management, retention, performance management, employee relations, and succession planning.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution. Provide guidance and support to managers in handling employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
- Performance Management: Manage performance management programs, including performance evaluations, goal setting, and development plans. Train and support managers in effectively managing employee performance.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and professional development.
- Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations within the region. Develop and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
- Employee Engagement and Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive work culture within the region, promoting employee engagement initiatives, employee recognition programs, and employee wellness initiatives.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports on key HR indicators, such as turnover rates, training effectiveness, recruitment metrics, and employee satisfaction.
- Collaborative Partnerships: Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional managers, department heads, and corporate HR team members, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on HR initiatives.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (at least one year) in a HR management role, preferably in the healthcare or home care industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and training and development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
