The expertise and attention to detail you provide during their class will ensure our Guests have a memory to share.What is in it for you:*benefit available for fulltime or part time employees while being a part of the Fairmont Orchid ‘ohanaPremium preferred provider medical/drug/vision benefits at competitive prices*We put you first & value you with employer paid coverage for group life and accidental insurance coverage ($25,000) Coverage is available for your ‘ohana!*We believe that hospitality has the power to unlock a better tomorrow with our 401(k)/retirement saving plan & matching programDon’t just live in the moment – own your moment with 15 paid holiday/personal days per year 10 days of paid vacation that begin accruing immediately*We are globetrotters taking advantage of our Travel Program with employee discounts at Accor properties Friends & Family rates*We go the extra mile by offering 50% discounts at hotel restaurants, 30% discount on retail items at our Fairmont Store & 30% discount of services offered in our Spa Without WallsComplimentary meals in our employee dining facilityWhat you will be doing:Maintain thorough knowledge of all spa-fitness services, protocols and procedures.Maintain cleanliness of all types of equipment, common areas, and service areas.Bus and stock all service area items including towels, water, ice, beverages, magazines, newspapers, clean headsets.Maintain smooth operation of all equipment through periodic service checks, lubing and reporting work orders promptly.Maintain thorough knowledge of all strength and cardio equipment and their programs as well as the proper use, alignment, safety and contraindications.Maintain current CPR, First Aid certifications.Maintain professional certifications while continually pursuing a greater degree of knowledge and expertise through self-study, in-services offered, program development and other continuing education efforts.Administer health history, questionnaires, fitness-wellness evaluations as set forth by Programs Administrator.Lead fitness exercise and yoga sessions, personal yoga/meditation sessions, group yoga/meditation experiences, in -service education sessions.Preferable able to instruct the following classes: Yoga Flow, Yoga / Meditation, Mat, Yin Yoga, Deep Yoga Stretch, Gentle Yoga, Seaside Yoga, Aqua Aerobics and SUP Yoga Abs & Arms, Core Conditioning,  Pilates, Mobility & Stretch, Strength Training, Total Body SculptAppointment setting and scheduling of personal appointments as well as appointments for Team Members.Safeguard all Clients, Guests, Members, Colleagues and Team Members throughout each experience, while upholding the philosophy of the spa fitness centerQualificationsPrevious experience as a yoga and/or fitness instructor.Accepted certifications.Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.Highly responsible & reliable, able to work independently under limited direct supervision.Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining professional, calm, and courteous at all times.CPR and First Aid certification preferred.Luxury resort or wellness experience required, ideally in Hawai'i.Additional InformationDirect service providers such as Fitness Instructors are entitled to earn "commissions."Compensation Range: $50.00 USD - $120.00 USD flat fee offered for each Yoga class performed by a Yoga/Fitness Instructor.Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
