Job Posting for A/P Specialist at Accounting Principals
Accounting Principals, together with our ever-growing clientele base, is looking for an A/P Specialist! This position is currently 100% remote, however, they are looking to move back into the office in the future in Alpharetta, Georgia. Training would be a hybrid. Responsibilities
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Prepare bills and invoices
Process 1099s for each subcontractor annually
Reconcile AP ledger to the balance sheet
Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contracting client’s qualifications
Qualifications
2 years’ experience in AP or general accounting
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and AP principles
Hands on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in MS OS
Proficient in Excel
Two-year degree in accounting preferred
Certified AP certification preferred
MS Dynamics Great plains software
Function in a high paced environment and stressed environment at times
