Stabilus Group is the world leader in design and manufacture of hydro pneumatic positioning elements, hydraulic vibration dampers, electromechanical drives and door positioners for automotive and industrial applications. The Controller will be responsible for financial management of Stabilus’ manufacturing operations in Miamisburg, OH at our company, Tech Products. They are a leader in the manufacturing of vibration and noise control solutions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise and perform monthly closing and financial reporting activities. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reports, KPIs and other key data. Provide analysis of results for local and corporate management.
- Business Planning. Lead development of five-year business plan. Coordinate the leadership team to assemble all aspects of the plan.
- Regular monitoring and forecasts of financial results and “early warning” of problem areas.
- Working capital management. Actively manage accounts receivable, payables and inventory.
- Supervise general accounting:
o Ensure accuracy of monthly accounting entries.
o Ensure efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivables.
- Liaison with external auditors and tax service providers.
- Treasury Management. Responsible for management of cash and banking. Review cash flow forecasting.
- Drive cost efficiency and economic behavior throughout the business.
- Capital spending. Prepare annual capital spending budget and review capital spending analysis.
- Internal controls. Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls in accordance with corporate guidelines and local regulations and guidelines in connection with the global policy and procedure are implemented and followed. Set a tone of high integrity.
- Supervise ad hoc analytical projects.
Education, Training, Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business with emphasis in Finance and Accounting at minimum.
Experience:
- Minimum of five to ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Job Knowledge and Skills:
- Fluent speaking and writing English skills required.
