One of the USA’s top-performing, inclusive and family-orientated are looking for a Manager with previous Food and Beverage experience to join their expanding team as they take the market by storm. This position will be overseeing Production within the Packaging department.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of over 100 associates and multiple supervisors in the meat-slicing and packaging departments.
- Create and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Establish and uphold stringent quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards.
- Develop and optimize production schedules to meet demand and minimize waste.
- Enhance productivity by streamlining processes while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in packaging processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency gains, waste reduction, and cost savings.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Set realistic and challenging goals for the packaging departments, ensuring they align with overall organizational objectives.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to efficiently manage various aspects of the packaging process.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail to maintain product quality and comply with regulatory standards.
- Inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence in their roles.
- Offer coaching and professional development opportunities to supervisors and associates.
- Maintain clear and open communication channels within the packaging departments and with other relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement improvements.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- 4 Years of Managerial experience
- Food manufacturing similar experience
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
- Motivated self starter
