ACER Landscape Services, an esteemed landscape provider renowned for its excellence in full-service maintenance and construction services, is seeking a versatile Business Developer / Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. Due to ACER’s rapid growth, we are looking to expand our Business Development Division. In this multifaceted role, you will not only drive sales but also play a pivotal role in estimating and light project management.

Business Developer Responsibilities:

Business Developer/Sales:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for annual maintenance contracts.

- Develop proposals tailored to client needs and specifications inputted through company’s software program. Training provided.

- Present proposals and effectively address client inquiries and concerns with professional recommendations to secure sales.

- Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, incorporating necessary details for smooth project execution by maintenance/construction teams.

Estimating and Light Project Management:

- Conduct comprehensive take-offs and accurate estimates for full-service maintenance. Training provided.

- Utilize your expertise to forecast material costs, labor and equipment rates accurately.

- Review incoming plans and specifications for bidding on HOA/residential and commercial projects, accurately assessing requirements and creating estimates.

- Ensure seamless project execution by liaising with the maintenance/construction manager, providing necessary support, and maintaining clear communication throughout.

Client Relationship Management:

-Grow your referral business

- Foster strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service and conducting regular follow-ups.

-Follow-up with previous leads and previous clients; scheduling follow-up appointments to review past proposals or to discuss new opportunities.

- Provide quick and timely responses. Must be able to provide reliability and dependability to all prospects, customers, and colleagues in a timely fashion.

- Conduct walk-throughs as needed during projects to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

Remote Work Environment:

- This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the majority of tasks being conducted from home.

- Due to the nature of the role, regular site visits, conferences, and meetings are required, necessitating the candidate to be based locally in Middle TN (Nashville Metropolitan Area preferred).

- While the job is primarily remote, in-person training, meetings and conferences with company officers will be conducted as needed.

- The ideal candidate should exhibit a high degree of self-motivation and discipline to thrive in a remote work setting, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage time and responsibilities independently.

Business Developer Qualifications & Requirements:

- 2-4 years experience in either landscaping, lawn care, landscaping materials is preferred. Sales background is ideal but not a must. Training provided.

-Excellent communication, negotiation, multi-tasking and organizational skills .

-Ability to be a team player with a positive attitude.

-Willing to go the extra mile! This is key!

- Valid driver's license and willingness to conduct site visits as needed.

Compensation package

  • Base Salary With Commission Pay
  • Uncapped Commission
  • Work Cell Phone and Laptop Provided
  • Paid Vacation

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends/Nights only if needed (can explain)

Pay: $75K – $150K (based on experience and commissions)

The ideal candidate would have experience in Landscape Maintenance and Construction. He or she would be creative by providing recommendations, insights and being attentive to detail, understand the full-service maintenance process, be articulate, likable, confident, reliable with timely response times, sales skills with the willing to learn and take direction. He or she would be willing to go the extra mile for themselves and the company. This is an uncapped commission position with the ability to make over $150,000/year depending on work ethic and drive.
