This position is responsible for safe and effective operation of equipment needed to prepare orders and maintain sanitation in the preparation room. Prepares and delivers formula, breast milk and donor breast milk per patient's order on the electronic medical record. 2. Calculates volumes and additives based on recipes. 3. Maintains adequate stock of products in preparation area, unit nourishment area, and pump rooms. 4. Stores formula & breast milk using first in and first out method. 5. Processes orders utilizing electronic medical record system; this includes printing reports to ensure accuracy of order preparation, & printing labels for all prepared milk. 6. Tracks breast milk updating milk recipe book and kardex according to latest orders. 7. Charges patient for preparation services utilizing the electronic medical record process. 8. Performs other duties as assigned.
