A Structural Detailer is responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for various structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering specifications and standards. Their primary role involves translating engineering designs into detailed technical drawings that can be used for fabrication purposes.

YOUR ROLE AS STRUCTURAL DETAILER
· Create detailed steel structural drawings for fabrication.
· Develop shop drawings, connection details, and assembly instructions using hand sketches, standards libraries, and project specifications.
· Coordinate detailed drawings with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure compliance with industry standards.
· Assist in preparing accurate material takeoffs and fabrication lists.

· Experience with TEKLA, SDS2 or Advance Steel is advantageous, preference to have TEKLA.

· Eagerness to learn and expand your technical expertise.
· Maintain a positive, winning attitude!
· Minimum of 5 years' experience.

LOCATION & TRAVEL
This position is based at our headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Position requires an on-site presence with professional flexibility. Travel estimated at 15% and as necessitated by business needs, customer meetings, and growth initiatives.
