What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pricing Analyst position at Acosta Group?
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Essential Functions:**
**Analyze** Closed/Won opportunities to **evaluate deals against margin** range thresholds.
Maintain and update **supporting cost and data files used in the pricing process** .
Update and manage cost componentsand inflationary assumptions for **costing accuracy and margin protection** .
Oversee Cost of Living Adjustment application, tracking, and management using **Salesforce** and internal reports.
Proactively review existing rates, **revenue structures** , and **customer buckets** to **adjust customer-level pricing in alignment with established pricing strategies.**
Conduct **pricing analysis for partial terminations** , reviewing remaining portfolios, economics, and customer-level pricing.
Lead **costing** and provide **pricing analysis** for retailermergers to **safeguard margins and prevent insourcing** in future state scenarios.
Utilize Salesforce, including **contract management systems** , for pricing analysis, deal scrutiny, documentation review, and impact assessment on budget and credit checks.
**Analyze pipeline opportunities** in the pricing stage, evaluate credit risks, and ensure compliance with pricing approval processes.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education Requirements:**
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:**
Strong proficiency in **Salesforce** and **Conga** , with a proven track record of **utilizing these platforms for pricing analysis and contract management.**
2 years of experience in a **pricing analysis** or related role within the consumer-packaged goods or retail industry.
Exceptional **analytical skills** with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Thrive in a **fast-paced, dynamic environment** and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
